Another place in the books…

London is breathtaking. Not just the views, the buildings, the art, the food or the style, but also the people. Everywhere you look is a different culture or a different style of apparel or different crazy hair-do. Vintage is the new retail. I haven’t seen such cool and unique style in a long time.  Back in Austin or even Dallas, you have a few oddballs but mainly everyone dresses pretty similar. Here, it’s so diverse. Filled with everyone’s personal touch making it all one beautiful masterpiece. I have definitely taken some style tips down. 

While in London we went to china town and had an awesome dinner, went to m&m world and was not impressed by the lack of peanut butter or pretzel ones, walked up and down Trafalgar Square, went to the national gallery, went to a club crawl which didn’t turn out as awesome as you would think, ate an incredible breakfast at a hole in the wall cafe, mastered the underground, walked 2 miles across the city in the opposite direction of destination and went to the most incredible market I’ve ever seen called Camden Market. I could spend days there if I tried. I met so many designers there and talked about their school backgrounds and what their inspirations were for their collections. It was so amazing seeing fresh designers and gain knowledge on some fashion schools in Europe! 

Oh and anonymous British boy came to London too! It was loads of fun mate. I think my favorite memory from this weekend would be going on the bus the whole opposite directions with all 3 of us speaking in our best Jersey accents. It was hilarious we couldn’t stop laughing. London will be dearly missed and appreciated and now it’s time for Amsterdam!!!
