What a sad goodbye…
The past week has been amazing! We have been all over England, to every movie that has come out, to a pub in the “country”, to a New Year’s Eve party where we knew one person but you would never have guessed. We have made friends and memories that will last forever. This small town might seem a little boring or a miss on the map, but it is filled with some great people.
About two weeks ago it was a Thursday and all of us went out to the club called atik. We had an absolute blast danced for hours. There I saw a guy across the dance floor and when we made eye contact I didn’t know what to do so I just threw up the two finger guns and pointed at him. Luckily he did it back and we laughed as we walked across and met each other. Since then, said boy and I have had some crazy adventures. I think I’ve covered my intake of England and sight seeing. I have seen every church thinking we were going in circles cause they looked the same. Fatin, firas and I went to his friends place for a New Year’s Eve party and made so many friends. We’ve probably spent a total of 48 hours just comparing our two worlds and making him stop, slow down and repeat what he said. From a guy that speaks the same language as me I can barely keep up.
Yesterday, said boy and his roommate and I went and had the best English breakfast ever. I’m so sad I was too full to even finish it. Definitely my favorite meal so far. After breakfast we went to a town called Ipswich. It was so cute and had a marina with tons of cute stores and coffee shops. But of course all good things have a catch and we locked his keys in the “boot”. Not a real boot people, that means the trunk of a car. Took me a bit. But yeah we had to call a locksmith and get the door unlocked. Usually if this happens people just break their car window and replace it for £20… crazy. Finally we got the lock open and just let the adventure keep going. It was an awesome day.

I am definitely sad today as we head to London, but I am so beyond grateful for the people I met and the memories I made. I will never forget this little town or the people within it.
