We accidentally woke up at 2pm…

For all those naysayers, jet lag is a thing. We went to bed last night at 2:30 am and slept in until 2pm! Well worth it though. Today we went to the Eiffel Tower! It was magical. Even better than Disney World. Every 10 minutes it sparkles and if you thought your diamond ring was shiny…go to Paris. Along with seeing the Eiffel Tower we did eat at this lovely cafe and watched the French news. It consisted of the Syrian war and high pollution. So, in France if the pollution is too high they make all the public transportation free and you’re not allowed to drive. Guess what! It’s too high right now so it’s been free for us! It’s incredible, America should hop on that trend! I think we would never be allowed to drive again though…

Since we woke up so late we didn’t go to many touristy areas but we did make a list of comparisons and wanted to share with y’all! 

1.) MEN you are allowed to wear a man purse. It is very common. So if you’re on the fence about people judging you just tell them they are ignorant and to go to France.

2.) If you were thinking about getting your nails done but can’t afford it, don’t worry! I have yet to see a nail shop or anyone with fake nails or painted nails for that matter. Natural is the new solar.

3.) Contrary to popular belief, all you Barbie doll platinum blondes (myself included) you will be the only blonde here. You will stick out very easily and yes that chemical burning hair trend is only popular in America, particularly the south. So go get those lowlights you’ve secretly wished for and stay on trend!

4.) Shoes do not matter.  I dont know where those high end French fashion models are but for the miles I have walked and the feet I have seen (a lot) shoes do not have to match. They do not have to be new and those “basic” riding boots are a myth. Put some funky shoes with your outfit and tell others they have no style.

5.) Oh personal space how I miss you!!!!!!! It’s crazy how different things can be between places. Excuse me is rare and make sure you’re always wearing deoterant because you’re basically family…with everyone.
