Lets go to Paris!

Wow its finally here! The day Fatin and I have been dreaming of! Today we are officially off to Europe! It feels like a lifetime ago that we were making all these plans to travel the world together! In just a few short hours our dreams will come true, our goals will have been reached and the European world will be our playground! 

For those who know Fatin and I’s struggle to get to today, understand how much this means to us. We have been planning, researching, reaching out, and most importantly saving! Man oh man have we learned what every grandparents wish for their grans and that’s how to save! You would be amazed what stopping online shopping, that drink at Starbucks, that night on 6th street…etc can do. It is HARD dont get me wrong, but when you agree that your goals and dreams are far more important than all that other stuff it becomes top priority to save money. 

Since these last few months have been about saving and getting ready I wanted to take time to shout people out! My parents and grandparents Maxine and Mckee: thank y’all for letting me live rent free! Thank you for the delicious meals, funding my stay with you and supporting my dreams!! Kassidy, Teresa, Trevor and Beth: thank y’all for being the best thing that has ever happened to me! Thank you for the support, the BEST friendship, the late nights and the amazing tips at work ;), y’all have been my rock!

Lastly, thank you to everyone throughout this process. I can’t speak for Fatin but I am amazed at the love I have in my life. For everyone who gave money, picked up the tab, took me out or in any way else helped me I am forever grateful! I did not reach my goals on my own! I had y’all, my family, to get me here! This trip is for you!
